McLaren F1 is the most powerful sport super-car produced by McLaren Automotive between the years 1992-1998.
The McLaren F1 features a 6 L V12 engine built by BMW, 627 HP at 7400 rmp. The F1 has the power output at 627 horsepower. The McLaren F1 was the fastest car in the world until Bugatti Veyron was introduced. McLaren Automotive produced only 106 McLaren F1.
The McLaren F1 sports car highlights numerous exclusive designs and technologies (defrost/demist windscreen and side glass, electric windows, rear fog lights, remote central locking, Kenwood CD stereo system). It is lighter and has a more sleek construction than even most of its contemporary competitors and opponents despite having one seat more than most sports cars, with the driver's seat positioned in the middle.
The McLaren F1 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds (0 to 180 mph in 20.3 seconds) and has a top speed of 240.1 mph.
Their rarity is insured, and consequently, their price is expected to increase with time. The McLaren F1 continues as one of the world’s true functional supercars.
