The Koenigsegg CCXR (Competition Coupe X) is the latest and most expensive supercar from Koenigsegg. The X from the CCXR abbreviation marks the 10th anniversary of the completion and test drive of the first CC vehicle in 1996.

The CCXR is an "eco-friendly" version of the CCX, powered by a modified twin-supercharged V8 engine from the CCX, converted to use E85 or E100 ethanol fuel as well as standard 98 octane petrol.

The Koenigsegg Edition has been designed to crush records in the traditional Koenigsegg way. The aim with the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition is to achieve superior performance - on the track, in a straight line and on country roads - and to do so in style and luxury.

The fresh, Scandinavian design is strengthened by the clear lacquered finish, which exposes the bold, linear beauty of the carbon fibre construction. Each peculiar section of carbon fibre bodywork has been painstakingly matched and then mixed together inside out like a tailored suit, to create a beautiful pinstripe effect.

The elegant leather interior specially anodised aluminium trim and redesigned Koenigsegg Chronocluster and centre console fuse with our freakish forged aluminium wheel design to confirm the Edition's elite status.

The Koenigsegg CCXR Edition comes with the free state-of-the-art Michelin Cup Tyres.

Production of the cars will be strictly limited: just 14 of the Koenigsegg CCX Edition and 6 of the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition will be offered.
